HP made the announcement this week unveiling the first HP Stream laptop, which will feature a 14-inch 720p (1366 x 768) display, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, but there is a microSD slot to increase the available storage. This new HP Windows PC will also be powered by an AMD A4 processor with a fanless design. The HP Stream will come in a variety of colors and Microsoft will also include 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for two years....

The Z51 will start shipping with Windows 8.1 in June, with the option of free upgrade to Windows 10, and customers will be able to purchase the new feature for an additional $100. The company is also announcing the Z41, but the only difference between the two is that the Z41 model doesn’t offer the option for the RealSense camera. However, both laptops will come with great hardware specs, such as 16GB of RAM, Intel latest Core i7, 1TB of local storage with the option of a solid state hybrid or traditional hard drive, and a display with 1920 x 1080 resolution....

A portion of the document was posted on Reddit (via Techradar) during the weekend, and it reads “New Microsoft Hardware Display and Type Cover set on Friday, 7/13.” Although the document doesn’t show much details, and it’s difficult to proof its authenticity, there’s a chance that might see the new low-cost Surface tablet on Friday. The Microsoft support page details that this should fix the crashing problem: “The Explorer.exe process continuously crashes and restarts after you upgrade to Windows Server Technical Preview or Windows 10 Technical Preview.” If you can’t install the update, reboot and re-check Windows Update. If you still can’t install it, in this case, you may have to wait until the company releases a revised version of KB3020114....
