Measuring just 12.9mm thin and weighing only 1.1kg, the Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe features a 14-inch display (1920 x 1080) with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on a 13-inch body. This approach is nothing new as many PC manufacturers are doing the same thing, and due to the extra space the screen takes, it also reduces the size of the bezels (7.46mm) making the device sleeker. As for tech specs, the ZenBook 3 Deluxe is powered by the latest Intel Kaby Lake processor up to Core i7-7500U, up to 16GB of memory, up to 1TB SSD for storage, and a quad-speaker audio system with Harman Kardon technology. On the ports front, the new Asus laptop includes three USB-C ports, two of which support Thunderbolt 3 for dual 4K UHD display supports, and headphone jack. There is also a fingerprint reader for biometric authentication using Windows Hello, but it’s an optional feature.
The Asus ZenBook 3 Deluxe packs a 46Wh battery that will give you up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. And with fast charging, the laptop will charge up to 60% in less than an hour. According to Asus the Zenbook 3 (UX490UA) will be available in May 2017 for a starting price of $1699, and you’ll be able to get it in blue or gray color.
