The update described as Surface Pro 2 firmware and driver pack, is a cumulative package that includes drivers for all the components and updates that have already been released for Windows 8.1. The update being released today is a bit odd, because today isn’t Patch Tuesday and this is a manual download from the Microsoft Download Center. This is because not every Surface Pro 2 owner needs to install this update....

Although there are too many things you can do with Surface, today I’ll share with you my favorite tips and tricks that you might not know about to be more productive: Taking a screenshot Press the home button () on the side + the volume button downwards at the same time. The screen will dim for a fraction of a second, like if you were taking a picture, to indicate a screenshot has been taken....

The new tablet incorporates many of the design elements of the Surface Pro X. After Synergy is installed and configured in each device, you will see how easy is to work with it, just move the mouse to the edged of the monitor and seamlessly the mouse pointer will appear in the next monitor, at which point you can also start using keyboard. These are Synergy most important features: No hardware required, just an ethernet connection. Seamlessly move the mouse between computers. No need to press any buttons, unlike when using KVM....

The only change is the name, now it’s called “System Image Backup”, which it only makes sense. Then everything else works exactly the same as it did before. If you want to do a clean install of the latest preview, Microsoft also made available the ISO files for Windows 10 build 15025. Recently, Windows 10 build 15019 released to Insiders and unlike build 15025, the earlier preview includes a lot of new features and changes, including Game Mode, Beam integration, Microsoft Edge improvements, and much more. The software giant also detailed the upgrade path for those coming from any edition of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 and want to upgrade for free. Lately, it is not news that a few things aren’t working out in Windows 8; Microsoft knows it, and Windows 8.1 is meant to fix many of these shortcomings. So now the company is taking a few step backwards and it is bringing back a couple of the old iconic features such as boot-to-desktop and Start button (Even though these features are likely to appear in the next upgrade of the OS, we really won’t know for sure until the final version ships later this year)....
