According the Microsoft support page, Surface 2 is getting the most changes. The Surface 2 firmware update brings improvements to extend the battery life of the tablet, system performance and stability, camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth driver updates to improve display performance. The update also deliver enhancements for all Type Cover and Touch Cover versions, and finally November’s firmware comes with audio fix including switching to speaker playback after disconnecting a headset. Surface (RT) running Windows RT and Surface Pro with Windows 8, both tablets are also getting a new firmware update that will allow to use Japanese Type Cover 2 and Touch Cover 2. And Surface Pro running Windows 8.1 gets a LifeCam driver update to increase TrueColor fidelity and another update that deal with Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth to improve wireless display performance. As for Surface Pro 2, there is no update in November. Like always updates will be delivered automatically, but if you cannot wait, simply go to PC settings, Update and recovery, tap Check Now… Then tap View details and finally tap Install.
