The company also announced that Xbox 360 games backward compatibility is coming later this years. Users don’t have to do anything, as games will automatically begin to appear in their game library. Xbox One Preview members can start testing selected games now, everyone else will get the support later this year. The second biggest announcement during the Xbox E3 event was the new major software update coming to Xbox One. The software maker announced that Xbox One will get a new user experience and Cortana integration. The update will be available later this fall and it will include a brand new dashboard with flyout menu, faster access to friends, parties, messages, and notifications. Cortana is another big part of this Xbox One update, once the update arrives, users can interact with the digital assistant in the same way that it works in Windows 10, and all the Xbox voice command will continue to work, however it appears that the digital assistant will require the Kinect sensor to work. The Xbox app for Windows 10 now allows users to stream Xbox One games to PC, but only for users that are part of the Xbox One Preview program, everyone will get the feature later this year. Early this week, Microsoft rolled out Windows 10 Mobile build 10136 to the Fast ring of updates with a number of changes, but the company warns of upgrade problems and list a number of known issues. Windows 10 build 10147 leaks onto the web, making the ISO files of the operating system available for download from torrent and file sharing sites. The new preview, which is likely not to roll out to Windows Insiders, includes a number of improvement and tweaks, such as new icons, UI enhancements, improvements in Action Center, Cortana, Tablet mode, and more. Microsoft Edge also received a number of improvements as well, such as a new dark theme, password manager, drag and drop tabs to create new windows, and more. The software giant hints that Windows Insiders will upgrade to Windows 10 for free without the need to have Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 installed as a prerequisite, but they will need to be using a Microsoft Account that is part of the Windows Insider program. Microsoft releases that it has no new plans to make a Skype universal app, Surface Pro 3 get a price reduction, and Cortana for Android app is delayed until July.
