Microsoft Build 2017: day one biggest announcements Microsoft Build 2017: day two biggest announcements
During the event Microsoft revealed that the next major feature update of Windows 10 will be called the “Fall Creators Update,” and it’ll bring new changes and features, such as Timeline, Story Remix, cloud-powered clipboard, OneDrive placeholders and much more. Alongside all the announcements during the three-day event, Microsoft also showed off Windows 10 on ARM processors, and how the new emulator works to run legacy x86 applications. Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (build 16193) rolled out this week for testers with PCs enrolled in the Fast ring. The new preview is a minor update, but it includes an early preview of the new Story Remix feature in the Photos app, and more. Although the update was made available through the Fast ring, Microsoft is also making available the ISO files for build 16193. As part of May’s Patch Tuesday, cumulative update KB4016871 released for those devices running the Windows 10 Creators Update to address a handful of issues. Microsoft recently introduced a new Surface, and not a hybrid device or a tablet with a clip-in keyboard, it is a traditional clamshell laptop. It’s called “Surface Laptop”, and it’s a 13-inch device with premium design and Alcantara fabric around the keyboard. Here you can check the full tech specs, pricing, and release day details. (You can also take a look at the hardware that makes the Surface Laptop tick.)
