We all assumed the version number being 1607 (noting the year and month of the release) and July 29 being the first year anniversary of Windows 10, Microsoft was planning to roll out the update on July 29, 2016. Today, it seems that Microsoft has accidentally revealed the official release date of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update on an empty post at its news center site titled: “Microsoft announces Windows 10 anniversary Update available Aug. 2.” Microsoft hasn’t made it comments on the accidental leak of this information. However, now it seems that August 2nd, is looking as the official release date for the next major update of the operating system. The Anniversary Update in the next major update of Windows 10 for PC, Mobile, and Xbox One that brings a slew number of new features, such as Windows Ink, an updated Start menu, improvements on Cortana, notifications, Settings app, and a lot of other changes.
