Windows 10 build 18936, according to the software maker, introduces the ability to create calendar events from the taskbar, and the ability to go passwordless with a new setting in the Sign-in options page.

Here are all the features and changes coming to the next version of Windows 10:

Taskbar

Starting with build 18936, Windows 10 is adding a new option in the Time & date flyout to create calendar events within taskbar without the need to open the Calendar app. (Although this option is officially available since build 18936, this is feature was previously spotted in build 18912.)

Sign-in options

In the Sign-in options settings page there’s a new “Make your device passwordless” option, which when enabled will switch your Microsoft accounts (those configured on your device) to modern authentication with Windows Hello Face, Fingerprint, or PIN.

Task Manager

Also, Windows 10 build 18936 updates the disk type text in Performance tab from Task Manager to now match the size of the other subtext on that tab.

Your Phone

Although there are no ISO files for Windows 10 build 18936, the update is available immediately through the Fast ring. This preview build will download and install automatically on your device, but you can always force the update from Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and clicking the Check for updates button.
