Guide
In this new update, the Guide is cleaner and easier to read. Microsoft has reduced the number of tabs and introduced a new default, left-to-right tab order for simpler navigation. App and system notifications are now with the rest of the Alerts. The People tab has been reorganized and “Friend Suggestions” are now under “Find someone.” You can now find “Discover Clubs” within the Clubs page, allowing users to find more suggestions. The new “Parties & Chats” tab combines Party, messaging and invites into a single location. The new “Profile & System” tab now consolidates important utilities like Sign-in, Settings and Help. Also, you can now customize the tab order to what works for you from the “Customize guide tabs” option on “Profile & system” tab.
Xbox Community
As part of the May 2020 Update for Xbox One, you’re getting an updated Community page that makes it clearer where your content is coming from and how to explore all that Xbox Live has to offer. This improved layout splits the page into four new channels, including Shared by friends, Official posts from games, Club activity, and Popular on Xbox Live.
Collection Filters
The update also brings changes to My games & apps giving you more flexibility to manage your collection. In addition, to make it easier to sort through and manage your ever-growing library, the May 2020 Update adds Genre and Player Count as additional Filters.
Mixer
Finally, starting with version 2005, you’ll get an improved Mixer experience when browsing streams with live thumbnails. The new version will download and install automatically, but you can always check for the update through the Xbox One settings.
