The microblogging site is just starting to roll out the new feature and it is, at the moment, only available for a really small percentage of users, but hopefully soon will be available for all users across the globe. How to download your tweets? If you are wandering, according to The Next Web, one of the first reporting the news, you will see if the new function is available by navigating the Settings page and at the bottom, you should see the “Request your archive” button next to “Your Twitter Archive”.

Once the user requests a Twitter archive, soon after he/she will receive an email with the link to download a .Zip file with all the tweets (even the first one!) in an HTML form — also includes a CSV and JSON file format –, that way users can easily view tweets, sorted by month, in any web browser. Are you getting yours?

Update

In a new article published, Twitter is announcing that the new option to download all tweets is available to everyone, right now.
